MONDAY (10/22)
**No new episode of Ellen today. She’s still recovering from all the doggy drama**
- Live With Regis and Kelly (ABC, syndicated): Jimmy Kimmel will be pulling double-duty this week as he fills in for Regis Philbin in NY and tapes his show in LA. (I’m guessing we’ll still be seeing him on Dancing With The Stars as well.) If we’re lucky, Guillermo will fill in for Gelman too.
- Prison Break (FOX, 8pm): The show returns tonight after being preempted by baseball last week. What? You don’t care either?
- Heroes (NBC, 9pm): Many fans have been waiting for Kristen Bell’s debut tonight. Unfortunately, she’s one more new character I’ll have to ignore.

Dancing With The Stars: Week 4 Loser
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Features,
Although Floyd Mayweather achieved his best personal score yesterday (23), the light-footed boxer was knocked out of Dancing With the Stars tonight. Despite Mayweather’s clear potential, the strength of the remaining dancers made this day inevitable. I’m certain this was one decision that came as a relief to Pretty Boy’s trainers; now he can properly focus on his upcoming fight.
Surprisingly, the lowest scorer from Monday night (Mark Cuban) managed to avoid a place in the Bottom Two once again. (I’m now convinced he’s sold his soul to the devil.) Of the three tied for third place, Melanie Brown received the rude awakening. Fortunately, the Spice Girl lived to see another day. But assuming Cuban remains consistently low next week—who will now warm the spot next to him?

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Dancing With The Stars, Heroes, Prison Break, The Bachelor, Ratings,
Monday’s competition saw the introduction of a new show (Samantha Who?) and the sports-related interruption of a few others (Prison Break, K-Ville). By night’s end, it was a one-two finish for ABC and CBS.
8pm
- With 19.3 million viewers, Dancing With the Stars (4.6 rating/11 share in 18-49) took the 8pm hour.
- Chuck (8.2 million, 3.2/8) had a huge gain from last week in the demo market.
- How I Met Your Mother (8 million, 3.1/9) remained fairly steady as did Big Bang Theory (8.2 million, 3.2/8).
- FOX’s Indians/Red Sox game 3.0/7) averaged 9.9 million viewers.
9pm
- Samantha Who? (14.3 million, 4.4/10 in 18-49) kept a large part of the DWTS audience.
- Heroes (11.3 million, 5.1/12) had the highest demos of the whole evening.
- Both Two and a Half Men (13.8 million, 4.8/11) and Rules of Engagement (11 million, 4.0/9) saw improvements in the 18-49 age group.

Dancing With The Stars: Week 4
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Features,
Tonight the competitors attempted either a fiery Paso Doble or a elegant Viennese Waltz. Read on to see how they fared:
MARK CUBAN (partner Kym Johnson)
(Dance: Viennese Waltz/ Song: ‘Mr. Bojangles’)
Despite his best attempts, Mark still looks a bit awkward and stiff tonight. If nothing else, he at least looks dapper in his suit. Len thought this was his best dance so far. Bruno believes Mark is continuing to improve, though he noted his inconsistency. Carrie Ann called him ‘The Little Engine that Could’. She thinks he’s quite fun to watch. Score: 7/8/7 (22)
SABRINA BRYAN (partner Mark Ballas)
(Dance: Paso Doble/ Song: ‘You Spin Me Round’)
Her intensity is off the charts today. She looks like she could hurt Mark at any time; maybe she’ll whip him to death with her dress. Bruno thought she was incredible. Carrie Ann thought it was ‘perfection’. She loved Sabrina’s ability to put power and passion into every moment. Len couldn’t find one fault with her performance. Score: 10/10/10 (30) (It’s only Week 4 and we already have the first perfect score of the competition.)

Another ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Cancellation Due To Family Illness
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, News,
Just two weeks ago, we were reporting of a death in the family for competitor Jane Seymour. Now the Dancing With The Stars producers are facing another cancellation. Singer Gloria Estefan, who was scheduled to perform on this Tuesday’s results show, has flown to Miami to be with an ailing relative. Her mother, Gloria Fajardo, is currently listed in critical condition after suffering an intestinal rupture.
In addition to her DWTS performance, Estefan has cancelled appearances on The Tonight Show and Ellen. It is not known at this time who might be performing in her place tomorrow night.

Tuesday Ratings: Viewers No Longer Curious About ‘Cavemen’
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Games, Music, Prime Time, Reality, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Dancing With The Stars, House, Ratings,
ABC’s Cavemen may have seen decent ratings last week, but it appears the experiment’s novelty may have just worn out. Meanwhile, House scored another ratings victory for FOX (followed by NBC, ABC, CBS and CW)
8pm
- NCIS (16.1 million, 3.4/10 in 18-49) won both the hour in viewers and demos.
- Bones (8.3 million, 3.1/9) gained 430,000 viewers coming in second.
- ABC’s Cavemen (2.5/8 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) lost about 20% of the premiere’s audience; Carpoolers (7.4 million, 2.8/8) was also down, but improved on its lead-in.
- NBC’s The Singing Bee (2.1/6 in 18-49) started off the hour with 6.7 million viewers; The Biggest Loser (6.6 million, 2.7/7 in 18-49) carried them from there.
- Beauty and the Geek (3.2 million, 1.5/4) brought an additional 500,000 viewers to the CW.
9pm
- House (17.7 million, 7.3 rating/18 share in adults 18-49) ruled the whole evening with the viewers and demos.
- ABC’s Dancing With the Stars (16 million, 4.0/10 share) pulled in second.
- The Unit (11.1 million, 3.0/7) saw a slight decline.
- Reaper (2.7 million, 1.3/3) scared away approx. 170,000 viewers.

- Boston Legal (11 million, 2.8/8 in 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall) held steady for second place.
- Cane (9.1 million, 2.3/7) continued its steady decline losing another 140,000 viewers.

Dancing With The Stars: Week 3 Loser
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars,
Having never broken past the 20-point mark, Wayne Newton and his dancing shoes were finally put to rest on Dancing With the Stars tonight. Despite being paired with two-time winner Cheryl Burke, Mr. Las Vegas could never quite find his groove. But he was a charmer up until the very end, even when he was forced to don a silly ponytail and mustache.
Although Mark Cuban was technically the next lowest scorer last night (he scored a 20; Newton an 18), he once again dodged the Bottom Two. It was ‘pretty boy’ Floyd Mayweather who narrowly missed getting a ticket home tonight. Let’s just hope for pouty Karina’s sake he can polish his technique by next week.

Monday Ratings: ABC Dances Away With Another Win
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Dancing With The Stars, Everybody Hates Chris, Heroes, Prison Break, The Bachelor, Ratings,
It’s unclear how some of these programs would have fared without stiff competition from Monday Night Football and the Yankees/Indians game. Regardless, it’s not surprising that to report that ABC easily danced away with another ratings victory (followed by CBS, NBC, FOX and CW).
8pm
- The 1.5 hour Dancing with the Stars (4.9 rating/12 share in demo) ruled with 19.3 million viewers.
- NBC’s Chuck (2.6/7 share) was down 13% with 7.1 million.
- Prison Break (7.2 million, 3.0/8) pulled up third.
- How I Met Your Mother (8 million, 3.2/9) gained 150,000 viewers while Big Bang Theory (8.4 million, 3.4/8) lost 200,000.
- Everybody Hates Chris (2.6 million, 1.1/3) was up slightly while Aliens in America (2.1 million, 0.8/2) dropped 230,000 from its premiere.
9pm
- Heroes (10.7 million, 5.0/11) was down 24% from its premiere but still pulled the hour’s win in the 18-49 age group.
- CBS’s Two and a Half Men (13 million, 4.4/10) lost 400,000 fans; Rules of Engagement (10.7 million, 3.8/9) gained 200,000.
- K-Ville (5.4 million, 2.0/5) remained steady with last week.

Dancing With The Stars: Week 3
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars,
Tonight, the Final 10 competitors danced either a sexy jive or a sultry tango. Read on to see how they fared:
SABRINA BRYAN (partner Mark Ballas)
(Dance: Jive/ Song: ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’)
We already know the girl can do ballroom—but what would she do with something more age-appropriate? Not surprisingly, her jive was flirty and fun. I’m constantly amazed by how well she can turn; I would be dizzy nauseous. Len didn’t like a few of her ‘bizarre’ steps but thought it was her best dance so far. Bruno said she was like a ‘seismic’ event; her incredible power gave ‘aftershocks’. Carrie Ann said the youthful, vibrant dance completely suited her. Score: 9/9/9 (27)
CAMERON MATHISON (partner Edyta Sliwinska)
(Dance: Tango/ Song: ‘The Beat Goes On’)
Thank goodness Cameron got to suit himself up this time around. I think he looks confident in this dance; he appears like he’s actually taking charge. Carrie Ann said the dance was more G-rated rather than sexy and smoldering, but she liked the chances they took with it. Len complimented his posture and hold but wasn’t a huge fan of the interpretation. He thought the dance had ‘too much attack’ and ‘not enough slow’. Bruno thought Cameron was a lady killer tonight. He said he was much improved. Score: 8/7/8 (23)
